12... degrees that is

Seriously?!?! Are you kidding me?? 12 whole degrees Fahrenheit is the predicted low for tonight. I live in Alabama for crying out loud! My brother is in Alaska for work (more on that later) and it is warmer there than here. This is so not fair. I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow... I am so not going to want to get out of my nice warm bed in the morning.

If it is going to be this cold we should at least get snow out of it!

We Interrupt These Old Posts...

I have to interrupt my "catch up" posts to let you know about a new problem. Beginning Monday morning we developed a new problem at my house. This...

Now this would not normally be a problem. This spoiled dog has the run of the house and if he wants to lay on my bed and my pillow he is more than welcome (he will move out of my spot when I am ready to get in the bed).

Problem is... this is about two minutes after I should have left the house to meet my carpool. Our normal routine is for him to to out on a leash and do his business and then come back in. When we get in the front door the leash comes off and be runs to his crate and waits for his treat. Ever since the weather turned cold he comes back in and the leash comes off he heads for the nice warm bed. The first morning I was able to trick him into his crate. The second day I had to drag him. This does not bode well for my mornings this winter. He and I are going to have to come to some understanding.
